Sport

CCC has a fantastic sporting program with both curriculum and extra-curricular based opportunities for students.

Extra-curricular activities offered at Cooloola Christian College include the Netball Academy and Football Academy. The academy programs are conducted by qualified coaches and staff. If you would like your child to be involved in the CCC Football Academy please email football@ccc.qld.edu.au. If you would like your child to be involved in the CCC Netball Academy please email netball@ccc.qld.edu.au.

Instrumental Music

The Instrumental Music Programme at Cooloola Christian College started in 2006 and continues to grow from strength to strength with many of our students performing at community events throughout the year. Each student benefits from the expertise of our tutors and those that are dedicated reap the rewards.

Instruments on offer in 2019 include woodwind and brass, piano, keyboard, strings, guitar and percussion.

Equestrian

The CCC Equestrian Team comprises riders from Prep to Year 12, from Leadline to experienced riders.  The team represents CCC at various competitions throughout the year.

 The Team Manager is CCC parent, Lucy Choveaux, who is also the Secretary of the Gympie & District Pony Club.   All riders need to supply their own horse, appropriate gear and horse float.   If you would like more information about joining the CCC EQ Team, please contact Lucy Choveaux on 0404 470 677 or lucychovo@gmail.com.  We welcome all enquiries.

Equestrian

The CCC Equestrian Team comprises riders from Prep to Year 12, from Leadline to experienced riders.  The team represents CCC at various competitions throughout the year, the main competition being the Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Competition in August each year.

Industrial Technology Group

The Industrial Technology Group is a group of students and teachers whose mission is to work collaboratively with the College community and our local churches to provide products to help in a range of areas.  The group evaluates the situation, looking at the needs and wants, researches, designs and builds products from new and recycled materials.

The group meets once per week, after school.

Student Representative Councils (SRC)

CCC has a Student Representative Council for both Primary (Year 6) and Secondary (Years 7-12), where students are elected by their fellow peers to each represent a class.

The Councils’ role is to be a “voice” for all students and enable them to provide feedback, and suggest ideas and solutions to benefit the whole College.

Council members are re-elected each year.
